So I've been painting recently...

...but if you are following me on Facebook you probably already know that. A while back, I started painting random monsters, basically whatever popped up in my head at the moment. I thought it would be good practice and monsters are awesome, so yeah. Anyway, a set kind of came out of it:

Most of these guys are 6"x6", save for the Wolfboy Prom thing and the Halloweeny one. This last one here is actually nine individual 6"x6" paintings arranged to make one large piece. Since the material is very much in the same vein of my old Bump in the Night set, I think I'm gonna call this one Super Bump in the Night Tournament Edition.

All in all the process has been pretty fun, and I learned a lot from it. I learned about love, I learned about life, and I learned about being a teenager at Bayside High. I've already got some other ideas I want to try out but they won't be related to this set.

I have some plans for these bastards, but they're not convention-related. I don't want to say any more quite yet because they probably won't pan out. I've had some inquiries already, but they're not going to be available for a bit. I'll keep you updated.

In other news, Chicago Comic Con is next weekend and I have a lot of prep work to do. I  still don't know what my table number is - usually they email me that info. Maybe it's online somewhere. I'll have to look it up. If/when I get that info, I'll post it up here.
