When Life Kicks the Shit Out of You...something something Lemonade

DanCon is this Sunday and I've got all my stock from the printer ready to go.

It dawned on me as I was getting everything ready that I may have a future problem on my hands. I currently have 11 books available - 12 and 13 currently in the works - and the more books I make, the more I have to carry around for conventions. Let's say I ordered 20 copies of each of my books. With 11 books, that's 220 comics (yeah, we're getting mathy up in this blog) I've got to pack up and make travel-ready, along with my prints, displays, booze, drawing equipment and other convention things. And I don't know if you know this, but paper gets surprisingly heavy once you start to stack it. And I'm not sure if I like the idea of discontinuing books, so stock is going to continue to grow and my luggage is going to get heavier every time I release a new comic. I want to state for the record that I am not complaining, this is a good problem to have. I just think it's funny; packing everything up, realizing this, and thinking, "Huh. This is something I'm going to have figure out down the line."

Anyway, yeah. DanCon - my first show of 2015 - is this Sunday and it'll be your first chance to get physical copies of Nowhere #1 and #2. While you're there, be sure to also swing by Jon, Leo, Angel, Ali, and Sun Bros. and profess your undying love for them.

But Jamie, you ask, somehow directly into my brain, I want - no, NEED - to get my hands on your awesome horror comics; but I'm stuck in Michigan and can't leave the state borders for legal reasons I'd rather not get into. Well, you're in luck because....

The Simon Corporation will be at Motor City Con

This May, me and the roving gang of feral comics creators will travel to Michigan to see their sights, dine on their finest local motors, and hurl our comics at Michiganian skulls. Here's a poster:

I've got a few more shows possibly in the works but for the time being DanCon, C2E2, and Motor City are the only ones that are official. More info as I get it.
